WILDFIRE

Stop all movement - life just fades away
As the failure of containment leads to epidemic spread
As catastrophy engulfs entire regions with its grasp
So contagious is this sickness as it levels town after town

Immune systems vulnerable
Attacking the genomes
It penetrates it replicates it destroys it kills
Such aggression that antibodies have
No chance to multiply and protect
Passed from body to body unfalteringly
Wings of death it spreads
And repeats each step

Wildfire - Penetrate Replicate Destroy

It leaves corpse after corpse in its path
It infects a new host with each breath
No amount of safeguarding could shelter anyone
Confronted with the force of its wrath
It consistently, unexclusively
Strikes down all it encounters conducively
It embeds in the spinal chord
Cranial hemorrhages then result

Wildfire - Penetrate Replicate Destroy
Suffer - One and all suffer unto an organism settling the score
Spreading - Taking over the bodies of victims unwilling to perish

Unstoppable contraction
Unfathomable symptoms
No immunisation
Could prevent this sickness from being contracted
A crippling plague
Spreading it's rage
Attempts to control or contain its trajectory
Are all in vain

Perished ones are thrown on flames
An attempt to drive sickness away
Empty villages left in it's wake
Fallen bodies that couldn't escape
Fear now lies in the hearts of those
Who know that extinction's on its way

It accelerates in all directions
Carried by those who flee
Distributed by those who panic
Manic behaviour ensures that it spreads easily
Epidemic - It terrifies like a beast that's been summoned from beneath
To destroy everything
Wings of death it spreads
And repeats each step
